While working on a different nature program on the island we got to volunteer to help remove some over growth from the center. While there we were able to take their tour, and meet the staff. What a lot of work it is to take...More

Was informational....and we got to see a blue iguana in the parking lot by accident. They were nice enough to take us around in a good cart since my stepmother couldn't walk well.

We popped into the QE botanical garden on the East Side. There we heard about the 11am Blue Iguana Tour. Expensive at USA$30 per head but as my wife is very keen on reptiles plus it helps support the recovery program, we went back a...More

There's not a ton to do on the North Side so we saw the Blue Iguana program/tour. The folks working were very nice and informative but at $30/per person, it's definitely not the islands best value.

Try asking if the city bus goes out there. The buses do not have "bus stops" beyond downtown, just stand on the shoulder of the road and give the driver a wavy and they will pick you up.
