WOW! What a humbling experience. We have visited Auchwitz in Poland, the 911 memorial in New York and Hiroshima peace memorial in Hiroshima Japan, and this is on par with all those in the humbling factor although all four are so different in there origin...More

Worth visiting as a reminder of what happened here 13 years ago. The lady who runs it built the museum where her home was destroyed. It is quite emotional looking at the pictures and hearing her memories.

This little museum is very impressive and extremely moving. There are photos, drawings, maps, and personal stories. I it had a big impact on me, specially the "still missing" section. You can really feel the tragedy of that day there.

You just have to go & see this. It may not be what you expect as it is two small separate areas under a roof. One being the original home of the lady who looks after it, that was swept away in the Tsunami. It...More

The 'tour' starts with the explanation about the Tsunami. The photo's are very impressive. The guides actually experienced the Tsunami, that makes it even more unrealistic what has happened..

It has been said in all other reviews, but when you are near, you must visit this. We all know what happened during the tsunami, but when you see the photo's in this small museum, only than do you understand the impact of what happened...More
