We found Captain Alan's on a fluke and are so thankful we did. We were in St Maarten for our mother's 75th birthday. We wanted to get out on the water and needed to make sure that it would be an experience that she would be comfortable with. We selected a 4 hour excursion. (This was our one and only... More

Captain Alan's wife was our captain. She made our trip. Her first mate was great too. We had gone the day before on another snorkeling trip with octopus diving in grand case. After our captain Alan tour we realized what a waste of money the day before had been. We missed the mud baths though, would have enjoyed that. But... More

First off a round of applause to our Captain's Jervis and Debbie! I do apologize I'm late writing this review. My husband and I joined you for half day tour in November. First, when I called to make the reservations Capt. Alan himself was so helpful as we told him we were coming over from Anguilla. He made sure I... More

This is the highlight of our 2 week stay at the island. The trip starts at Oyster Bay Marina, going out to the Atlantic Ocean under the steady gaze of the Oyster Bay Beach Resort's light house. The first stop is at lle Tintamarre, a small island off to the east of St. Maarten. The boat captain let us into... More

A great adventure for all ages! We were three generations--an 11 year old, her Mom, and her grandmother. We all had a blast! A rollicking ride out and back on the speedboat. Rewarding snorkeling at two islands--one to see sea turtles grazing on sea grass; the other at a coral reef in a protected area. Crystal-clear water and plenty to... More

This is our second time with Captain Alan's 4 hour trip! Amazing as always, I love the Vegetarian sandwiches , we saw 3 sea turtles, a eel, tons of fish and sea anemones, and a nurse shark. The ride back was the best though, it was so bumpy and I felt like I was flying. We will be sure to... More

Captain Alan was our guide and took us to see the green turtles, corals, and many different fish. The ride was fun and the kids enjoyed sitting on the front of the boat with sea water spraying up.

This was our 2nd snorkel trip with Captain Alan and it was just as amazing as the first time! What sets this company apart is the personal service you receive. I spoke to Captain Alan personally on the phone when I called to inquire about the weather and book a trip. He looked at the weather forecast and chose the... More

On vacation with my wife and two children ages nine and 12 all for a snorkel tour with Captain Happy at the helm. We stopped in great beaches and snorkeled in some beautiful waters. A must do on your next trip!! Beer and soft drinks and sandwiches. Thanks again for a great memory as we rescued an iguana that was... More

Great day on the water even though it was rough. Snorkelled with the turtles and saw a barracuda plus some other colourful fish. The poor Eco system,, the reef is in rough shape. Really enjoyed Pinel island, best shopping for interesting stuff. Don't feed the iguanas., except lettuce or such. Yes, just a nice day on the water with a... More
