We went with Pahoehoe and at first I second guessed myself because they were much more expensive than the others. But we spent 2.5 hours snorkeling - way more than the other boats and stopped at 2 different spots. The boats are only allowed to have 10 people per the national park rules so it's great for snorkeling. Gabriel was... More

Our favorite snorkeling trip in the Galapagos! We went with Luis of PAHOE HOE, who was great. Saw 20+ turtles, spotted eel, sea horse, 7' white tip sharks sleeping in caves, etc. Walked on the lava "bridges" to see sea lions, iguanas and dancing/whistling blue-foot boobies up close.

Great day trip from Isabela. Turtles, seahorse, sharks, penguin, boobies, rays, and more. Many outfits do the trip, not sure there is much difference.

We listened to other reviewers and decided on Pahoeoe located downtown Puerto Villamil. So glad we did. Juan Carlos is a genuine piece of work. I mean that in the best sense. He is knowledgeable, humorous and a ball of energy. He gives you a full tour while snorkeling and gives it his all to make your experience memorable seeing... More

If you do decide to take this tour, you will see rays, possibly mantas, sea horses, white and black tip sharks, sea turtles, lobsters, large schools of fish, blue-footed boobies etc... I definitely recommend it through Pahoehoe Tours! Awesome staff and naturalists!!

Los Tuneles is a volcanic rock formation about 45 minutes boat ride from Puerto Villamil on Isabela island. The scenery is fantastic above and below the water. While snorkeling I saw sharks, turtles, rays, a bunch of fish and even a sea horse! I went with pahoehoe tours. My guide was Gabriel and he was terrific. I would make this... More

This was my favorite place to see in the Galapagos. It was unexpected, strange, and beautiful. The geological formations were unique, as were the animals.
