Walk NZ’s longest swingbridge before taking part in a range of activities from high speed flying-fox rides and jet boating to more leisurely strolls along the Faultline loop walk to view some of the site’s fascinating geological and historical features. The loop walk, for instance, encompasses the famous White’s Creek Faultine, - epicentre of the 1929 Murchison earthquake, where the ground rose 4.5m (15ft), historical goldworkings and the chance to look for gold on the river banks. The flying fox is suitable for all ages whilst the jetboating is one of the best runs in NZ.

I don't think this is a place to come to specially, but it is a good place for a break. We just did the bridge and the short walk which we thought was a bit steep at $10, but they have to cover their costs....More

Stopped while driving from Maharau to Punakaiki on west coast. The strill around the 15 min loop, walk across the swingbridge and the chair ride back were just what the doctor ordered.

We drove quite a while to get to Buller Gorge and when we arrived I asked the lady in the entrance hall where I could find the bathroom. She bluntly replied that this was a private property and toilets where for paying guests only. Public...More

Great day in Buller region. Lovely weather, friendly staff and a lot of fun watching friends do the swing bridge. Such a beautiful part of the country.

We found it a bit expensive to pay just to cross the bridge, however once on the other side we were greeted by some beautiful nature walks, the sites offers more then first thought. We decided to do the superman zip line, What a fun...More

We arrived shortly before closing, so they let us in cheap. Only time to walk across and back again. It’s fairly dramatic, but as there are high sides, you’re really safe. I’ve been on more exposed bridges. Good fun, but a little on the pricey...More

To pay $10 pp to walk across the bridge is a total rip off! We made a special trip to this place. Wished we looked at the reviews. While we waited in the car park we noticed many people walking away after reading the price...More

It's a tourist trap and ridicilous that they charge you $ 10,- pp to cross the bridge. The walking track is a joke. All the parks in NZ have way more spectacular suspension bridges and they are everywhere free of charge to cross. Just because...More

Walked across with my wife and the bridge wobbled and was fun. We then explored their well signed & interesting trail. I thought I'd try the zip wire back (my wife walked!) and it was OK but a bit tame and I didn't feel like...More

Visited Labour Monday. People seem to think $10 is a lot to cross the swingbridge! It's the longest in NZ, crosses a beautiful gorge and requires safety checks and maintenance. I was petrified crossing it. Did the jet boat on the Buller gorge. Beautiful, peaceful...More
