This shop specialises in Kauri tree wood carved ornaments. High quality one too. From trinkets to $40000 wooden bench. Nice coffee shop too.

Stopped here to see the Giant Kauri staircase, suggested by the information centre at Kaitaia. This attraction reads more as a rest stop, with a cafe and a shop beside, rather than an attraction itself, but has some interesting Kauri products and art on display.
