Although this attraction is promoted all over the web and even by brown signs on the main road, it isn't till we were actually at their drive that we were notified that it was closed. The brown signs need to be removed asap to avoid...More

Checked the website for opening times, thought I'd take the wife as it's her birthday and she loves donkeys...... Brownie points for me..... Or so I thought! Drove for 90 minutes, pulled up to the gate at 11.15am to find a 'Sorry closed' sign. Gave...More

We were really looking forward to a visit but when we got there we found the place was closed - permanently!! Apparently it is being relocated to Cornwall but haven't seen any details of where yet.

We visited the Donkey Sanctuary with our grand children and were a little apprehensive after reading the latest review which seemed to be reviewing an entirely different place to the one we went to. True the cafe was closed but the owner was extremely polite...More

We have been coming here on and off for years and used to enjoy mixing a cream tea in the cafe with a good long visit with the donkeys. Well, we haven't been for about 3 years what a change for the worse... the cafe...More

Stick with the long, one track winding road to get there - it's worth it. The farm is set in lovely surroundings. Admitedly there not loads of other things to see and do there, but the whole point of going is to see the donkeys...More

I went here with my family including my 5 year old Nephew, we were made to feel welcome and had a lovely afternoon spending time with some wonderful and cute donkeys who thankfully are now in a good home being cared for.
