Across the uneven square is this tiny church. It is elegant in its simplicity. Inside the interior is almost sparse in comparison to most Italian churches but it has a quiet, crepuscular calm. Free to enter.

Whilst visiting the castle, also take time to visit this lovely small church which is quite plain and unadorned compared to other towns and cities. Very restful

This church is very intimate and invite you to meditate or pray.
The external, as well the internal, is simple but elegant.

Small church which felt like a church. After seeing all the huge churches in Rome this was a welcome change. I think it would be a lovely place to come to in the mornings or on sundays if it is still being used by locals. One of the best church experiences we had was listening to a group of ladies singing their early morning Mass in Arezzo.
