The boat trip was comfortable and the skipper informative and I would suggest having the lunch on board as the steak & wine were great as was the extra trip around the bays with the skipper telling us... My family and I have been coming to Kawau since I was about 5 years old. The Mansion House and gardens are absolutely beautiful. I recommend taking a walk to the copper mine or Ladies Bay.

Cafe in the summer, peacocks and natural wild life roaming the grounds. A spectacular bay to visit. Highly recommend going through Mansion House which I was lived in by New Zealand's first Governer General - Sir GEorge Gray.

The building has been restored to its former glory , with a large number of early artefacts . It was a pity however that most of the walking tracks were closed... More

Cruise was great and we did a great walk right around the island, looked in the manor house and did lots of swimming, take a picnic for a great day out! Looked like there... More
