This is a surprisingly large collection for a town the size of Feilding. You get to walk around the long large shed which contains coaches, buggies, tractors and farm implements from bygone years. Most of the exhibits have been sourced locally and if necessary restored. You can see that work in the old days was tough. The cheerful volunteers will... More

The coach house museum is a must see. It has interactive displays which are great and is done 100% by volunteers. It is a must see by any visitor, both kiwi and overseas visitor. Entry fee is reasonable and well worth it.

This started out as somewhere to spend a wet day in Feilding but it was much better than that! The museum has a very large collection of horse drawn vehicles used in NZ over the ages. There are also displays of agriculture equipment and machinery used during the last century. This museum shows how life has been in New Zealand... More

Who would have ever thought there was so much to see at the Coach House Museum. I just didn't realise there was so much history around Feilding and the Manawatu area. Certainly worth a look. Make sure you set aside a couple of hours.

A very informative & interesting look back into the history of Feilding & it's farming practices. There are some great classic tractors & farming equipment, not to mention some amazing coaches & carts.

The Coach House Museum has a great display of Manawatu history - it started out as a small collection of horse-drawn vehicles and has grown to a substantial display covering the development of the area. There is a display of sawmilling which includes information about my family who were early settlers of the Manchester Block. The collection of John Deere... More

We visited the Coach House Museum with a group of European visitors and were amazed at the extensive displays of horse drawn carriages and wagons, easily the best we have seen in New Zealand. There is also a big display of early tractors and other early farm machinery. A great reminder of early life in New Zealand. While the focus... More

A n incredible collection from bygone farming days in the Manawatu. .Fascinating for all ages and ideal for multi generation family visits. The entrance foyer could be mre welcoming and the souvenir sale items need work. Would be perfect with a small cafe

I was absolutely blown away when I took friends to check out this museum. I had seen it advertized many times, but this was ,m first visit. It is amazing, the huge range of John Deere agricultural machinery is unbelievable. It is a must see attraction in Feilding
