Enjoyed a very scenic drive through Crawford Notch. Hiked along a mile or so of trail through woods and along stream. Water levels higher due to heavy recent rains. Very pretty, nicely maintained trails. Very accommodating for novice hikers!

A personal favorite in New Hampshire. Lots to explore. A great place for some peace with waterfalls, longer mountain trails or just riding through and stopping for pictures.

There is nothing but positives to say about the entire area. The views are just magnificent and the different waterfalls and mountains and rock formations are wonderful! Lots of trails both short and long.

We were so pleased our innkeeper suggested the hike to Ripley Falls. It's a fairly easy hike to the falls. Lots of roots though and some muddy parts, but it was spring and that's to be expected. The trail is small and somewhat narrow in...More

One of the highlights of Crawford Notch States Park was the Mount Willard Trail. This is a 1.6 mile one way trip that ends in a beautiful outlook. After this hike we stopped at the AMC Highland Center. The two guys manning the store were...More

We enjoyed the easy hike to Ripley Falls. Comparing the Ripley Falls Trail to the Arethusa Falls Trail, we enjoyed this one more. The trailhead is located on Wiley House Station Road off US 302. It is 13 miles northwest of Bartlett and 7.5 miles...More

First I must say that the whole Crawford Park is a beautiful area and it is a great drive to really feel like you are in the mountains. The Mt. Willard Trail was great too. It is a moderately difficult trail but, the view at...More

Yes, the only road charge is on Interstate 93 in Hooksett, NH far South of the Mountains. This is South of Concord. Some White Mountains National Forest parking areas (especially at trail heads) have honor system boxes for... More

Not that I am aware. The state site has campground maps only. Most/all guides of the area show them however. Your focus would be both the many small falls along Bemis Brook (worth the short side walk) and Aretha Falls. You... More
