We were very surprised at the extent of this Village and the friendly volunteers we spoke to. They went out of their way to let us see as much as possible in the time available; there was a lot of very different things to see.

Walk around a few acres viewing a vast variety of buildings (eg butcher shop, wagon shed, school house) each housing historical items relating to their purpose. if you are a history buff allow a full day to get a good look at everything.

The open days over Easter are an excellent experience. We were able to see Ned Kelly being arrested, an Indigenous dancer, and an interesting parade of old machinery. All around a great day out.
