Natural Cave

Interesting to see a big cave like this without any man-made structures inside. This site is not easy, need to have good shoes and be able to go through some small openings.

It takes about 20 mins to get to cave by car, from Labuan Bajo. It's easy by motorcycle as well. The road is a little bumpy, a few pot holes, here and there. A small entrance fee, when you get to the start, then a guide will take you, on a small, easy walk, to the cave and in. You... More

Spend a few hours touring these caves with a guide, very interesting formations that are a great diversion.

We went to visit the cave on the last day before departure from Labuan Bajo. The trip took like 2 hours including the cave visit with a car. The cave is not too big, has like 3 rooms and is nice. Do not expect anything majestic. What was interesting were the local cave creatures which live there, nice to see.... More

A good tour guide can give you the history of the cave which adds to the allure. A person can almost feel the plight of the local population hiding from their colonial overlords. The access is a little restrictive to those less nimble.

A cave that was under the water. Pushad up above the service. Sea animal as fossils printed in the walls. If you have some time to visit. Do it! Very close to the town and airport. Not expensive at all.

Short, fun cave visit. You get a guide, helmets and a few flashlights to share for a small fee. Apparently the light only hits the cave at certain hours of the day, so we didn't get to see that. We saw some fossils in the stone, though, which was cool. Climbing some of the rocks was also fun!

A short cave. At the end of the deepest tunnel one can see the sun light phenomena drops onto the stone which creates shinny stone, and that is why the place is named batu cermin or mirror stone. This event only happens around 11.30-12.00. We came at around 14.30 so missed the chance beside the final section of cave tunnel... More

Come between at noon or when the sun shining so bright and your taken photos will be great. Suitable if you have a limited time but still want to visit some place in Labuan Bajo.
