It was a windy, chilly day when we visited but it was worth it to see one of the oldest lighthouses in the province. It was built in 1867 and is still active! We went into the Interpretive Center and also had lunch at the...More

See this wonderful working historic North Cape Lighthouse, and enjoy the beautiful PEI coastline in this area. There are many photo opportunities here. Take a stroll along the shoreline and see the hundreds of inukshuks along the shore built by former visitors to this area....More

Wonderful working lighthouse situated at the tip of Tignish. Grounds are interesting to walk with the wind farm & historical markers. Property offers a gift shop, bathrooms and beach. I can't imagine swimming in this area, but it was very pretty to admire the ocean.

This lighthouse was quite a distance from Charlottetown but I enjoyed it. It is fenced in and you are not able to see the inside. Took a short walk around-did not walk the nature trail nor did we pay to see the exhibit there about...More

We made a special visit out to the North Cape Lighthouse and we weren't disappointed. It was definitely one of the best places to take pictures. It was so picturesque, and we spent time with our little ones walking around and exploring the area. There...More

We stopped here on a cross country road trip and were impressed with the view and the friendly staff at the Interpretive Centre. We enjoyed the North Cape Coastal Drive and recommend it to anyone who enjoys good scenery.
