The view over the island when you are comming down from the mountain is spectactular, while the Island itself is not much to visit.

...when reading the touristic information. But besides the impressive location of this village on a small island, there was very little to do. Good when passing by, but not really worth a specific detour

Fascinating little island with 300 inhabitants. A grocery store and one coffee shop. MUST buy the Husøy salmon, it is the best in the world.

We don't regret visiting this place. This really small island with a village is picturesque and has a nice atmosphere. Also there is a gas station with not so bad prices (cheaper than in Tromso) In case of riding a car downhill to this island...More

amazing view over the village when you are coming down the road, very good for taking some photos. the village itself is a quiet place, only a few tourists there.
