Would be better if you could walk down to it but view from above was ok and the surf crashing over the rocks nearby proved a good photo opp.

This place always seems to be cloudy! A very interesting piece of nature, don't get me wrong, but it is not in a particularly nice setting and there is very little to do. The restaurants, on the other hand, offer the best fish on the...More

The green lagoon against the black sand is quite striking. The lagoon itself is cordoned off to preserve its appearance and there is a viewpoint above to get a good view. Worth a look if passing.

Not worth the travelling just to see a green lake !! El Gofo is a lovely spot and some great beachside restaurants for a long , lazy lunch bit visit to see green lake not really a tourist attraction- not much of a natural wonder...More

fantastic view of the sea from the mirador. I would not have seen the site had it not been for our plans to eat at a nearby restaurant in El Golfo. The lake itself is not that impressive other than the green color.

Worth a look if you are in the area as much for the dramatic coastline as for the lagoon. I wouldn't make a special trip though.

We were unimpressed on our last visit 10 years or so ago, but it has really improved. We couldn't go down to the lagoon this time, but lovely views, fresh sea air and some excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood (plus other choices)

It's certainly worth having a look, but you're likely to be sharing a small viewing platform with quite a crowd.

Years ago, you walked down a long, and at times, treacherous path, but then you could walk right up to the lake. Presumably, because of safety issues, they have devised a cliff path, with aerial views, which just isn't the same. Good views, yes, but...More

When we were there the beach was closed, people not allowed to enter it. Not sure why though? The view is particular. Then continue to the end of the town and hike a part of the path along the beaches into the lava fields of...More
