Fantastic shopping in Auckland CBD

Smith and Caughey's is always worth a visit. They have a great fragrance and cosmetics range, and a fantastic floor with homewares.

I normally use the benefit counter on Queen Street, but every time I used the counter at Newmarket I have had the worst customer service and brow treatment. First time my brow had a burning sensation when the lady finished, 2nd time one brow was thinner than the other, the 3rd time the same lady did the same thing and... More

This place was super small compared to USA department store standards but there was this really awesome women's shop called Witchery with a sale and awesome clothes. I loved it. Also on the second floor there is a great chocolate shop I went to on a food tour.

This department store is very small in comparison to department stores in other major cities .The department store places a strong emphasis on international fashion brands. I would have preferred a greater selection of local NZ fashion brands. Nevertheless there is a large selection of NZ wine and chocolates. These are great gifts for family and friends overseas.

Although service was friendly, this was a below average visit as far as food was concerned. Cabinet food was all a bit unappealing so just a hot drink was ordered.

People wonder why retail is struggling to survive. First of all there's a huge shortage of staff in this store. The waiting time to pay for anything in the 4 different areas I went in, were unacceptable! I would've expected staff training on customer service and gift wrapping store- bought items would've been mandatory. While in the children's department I... More

Great service with helpful suggestions which is all too rare these days - certainly not in David Jones or Myers. Lovely range of quality products. Way more chic than younger shoppers would realise. See for yourself

Wow. After shopping here for 30 years i today experienced the worst service ever. Gobsmacked. The staff overall rate from average to great. This badly-presented woman was so rude, clearly angry with the universe and just wow! Such a bad experience
