This purpose built centre, high up in the Waitakeres is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful building with native sculptures, viewing decks overlooking the bush, dams and harbour. Helpful staff along side interesting displays, art and small gift shop. Coffee and ice cream stall outside.

A fantastic location, with walking trails branching off. Some are quite steep and rugged, others much more gentle — so there's something for everyone. It's also a great place to have a picnic. So don't miss it!
