This mansion showcases the 19th century lifestyle of a sugar-rich province. Original furniture, household items and architectural details can enthrall the visitor. As interesting as the house itself is the matriarch of this prominent family. I enjoy listening to stories of Tana Dicang and how she added to, and maintained, the family fortune.

A good stop over to check out a fairly well preserved house. It's a good look into how people lived at those times.

Well-preserved memories! We're thankful that a family preserves and shares with the public their treasures - the beautiful house wares and the memories of events in the house!
