I love to come here and walk around or take a picnic and watch the sunset. It's a pity these beaches aren't good for swimming though :(

We took a walk around this lovely park by the ocean after a fish and chip lunch. We encountered several people flying kites. There is always a good wind to make those kites soar.

This is a small park with gravel paths that are suitd for bikes and wheelchairs as well as walking. Very pleasant river side walk, but no swimming. An excellent fish and chip restaurant right within the park -- Pajo's. Good for folks of all ages...More

How can I be unbiased? I live near this place. I can hop on a transit bus with my family and get dropped off here. Back in the 1970's...this place was sand dunes that folks drove modified VW Beetles over. Now there is grass growing...More

Just past Steveston's main street of restaurants, this is a pleasant oasis with short walks and several benches and picnic tables. It leads to the West Dyke 5km walk.

Propane cookers/bbqs are allowed. Get there early and claim your spot; it is a very popular place. Cheers
