I have been living in RIchmond for long enough time to get bored of, but Garry point park is one of the reason I will get back to Richmond and live here.

Huge empty space, a nice walk, that's it. Unless you want to watch people with kites, all sorts of them, or a monument to the fishers who didn't come home from the see. This monument is good, but that's the only interesting thing there.

If you have an evening free and just want to relax, first go for fish and chips at Pajo's at Garry Point Park and then take a nice leisurely walk , at the end of which you can sit on a bench and watch the sunset over the water. Beautiful.

Garry Point is located at the very western end of Steveston village. The cherry trees which line the entrance are spectacular in the spring and throughout the year locals like to fly kites in its large open spaces. The walk around the edge is paves so is great for walking, pushing strollers or wheel chairs. Many joggers enjoy the park... More

Garry Point Park is located in Richmond BC. It is near Steveston village. The park offers a variety of things to do and see. During summer lots of people go there to picnic and watch the ships go by. It has nice walking trail and lots of wild flowers to see. You can bring your own barbecue and chairs and... More

I always enjoy coming here. Either to take a walk or just to sit on a bench and people watch. You frequently see people flying kites on a windy day. Also just steps away from the Steveston Village where you'll find lots of places to eat. If you don't want to walk that far there's always Pajo's which is open... More
