Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain attracts locals and tourists alike. During the summer, guests enjoy hiking, Zip Line Adventures, paragliding, sightseeing, lumberjack shows and more. In winter, we have skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides among many other activities. Grouse Mountain also features several different dining venues, from café style at Lupins to casual dining at Altitudes and fine dining as a guest at The Observatory. We also have a refuge for endangered wildlife.

After the grouse grind you get rewarded with great views of vancouver and grizzly bears!!! You can take the gondola up but that wouldn't be as fun.

Prior to our arrival in VC, I'd heard nothing about Grouse Mtn......but we wanted to spend a bit of time outside the city and this did not disappoint. We (unfortunately) elected this activity on a day that was COLD and raining, but we still loved...More

You go up in gondolas which hold about 90 people. They run every 15 minutes and take 8 minutes to go up. On the top there is a lumberjack show and the two orphaned resident grizzly bears. Follow the white painted paw prints to their...More

Prepare for a whole day of enjoyment and meander: see grizzlies in their 5 acre habitat, watch a comic lumberjack show and see the raptors fly: The gondola and chairlift ride are great but you can also hike some or all of the way.

Take the SKYRIDE gondola to the top and whether you want to just enjoy the view or take in the entertainment don't miss Grouse Mt. Don't be surprised to find the temps warmer than downtown Vancouver because you are away from the water. Good for...More

Grouse Mountain was easy to access from Downtown Vancouver using the local bus (and very cheap). The mountain was covered in a light mist when we got there and we were able to see fabulous views of Vancouver as we ascended in the gondola. There...More

There is not a whole lot to do in Vancouver, so visiting Grouse Mountain if you have half a day is worth it. The gondola, the bears, the views and the shows are all super touristy, but a nice experience nonetheless. Catch the free shuttle...More

My husband and I spent a few hours at Grouse Mountain. There was lots to see and do and we covered everything. We saw the bears, saw the bird show, the lumber show and we even tried the zipline. The zipline was probably the most...More

We spent five hours at the site from the time we parked at the bottom, rode the gondola, took in some shows, rode the chairlift, had a snack and then went to the top of the wind generator. I suppose if your only goals was to... More
