Our little one enjoyed watching a puppy enjoying a cool dip in the stream. A hiking spot - oxygen fills your lungs and yet it is so accesible by public transit. We enjoyed a nice hot soup in the little scenic caferia near the entrance....More

This is the best place for a walk and take your dog if you have one. The kids will find lots to look for in the trees. A true rain forest.

This park is near other parks and Capilano Suspension Bridge -- all in North Vancouver. This park and the walk across the bridge are free. That's not true for the other bridge. We have been there several times when visiting family in Vancouver. It has...More

The walking trails here are very good and well marked. The river is very nice to walk along but it is a dangerous and people should take caution when even walking along it. The under currents can be very dangerous.

Great place for hiking and admiring nature. The bridge is fun to cross, and there are places along the trail where it's great to stop and have a break from all the walking and climbing. Easy to access; we took the seabus to North Vancouver,...More

Unlike the capilano Suspension Bridge, which is expensive to visit, the Lynn Canyon (although not as dramatic) is less spoiled and almost as impressive - with the added bonus of being free!. We travelled from downtown Vancouver by the ferry and service bus - both...More

Lynn Canyon Park is a beautiful natures retreat, where you can spend hours exploring the Bowden trails in the wilderness. Free parking and free access to the park and suspension bridge makes this a popular park for nature enthusiasts. We went early in the morning...More

We generally take our out-of-town guests for the unique experience of crossing the canyon via the suspension bridge. We like to go before 10, when you can still find a parking spot fairly close to the bridge.

Yes, all the trails make a loop, so you can get there, but it is a much longer route to go there and back instead of making the loop. But the entire park is gorgeous, so would be a nice hike. And yes, MANY stairs as... More
