It's amazing who does this hike. It is a virtual stair master up a 3000' mountain. People are in flip flops, carrying babies......you really gotta give your head a shake and just leave this trail to them and hike the BCMC trail, which is just...More

Incredible workout, was pretty busy trail, lots of hikers. Incredibly some people attempting it in crappy shoes like flip flops..... Anyway, if you are reasonably fit, have the proper clothes and shoes, plus a drink of water, its a great workout! Views are pretty limited,...More

I am not a very active person, and somehow my friend convinced me to come do this hike. I slightly regret it, as it took two hours, and it was a very difficult hike, but in the end it was worth it because it felt...More

Near the top. I am astounded at the reviews of the folks who said it wasn’t bad but then getting lapped by a 6 year old so maybe I’m not typical. Two words: brutal climb. I’m a trim, reasonable level of fitness 51-year old. By...More

The location is close enough to Capliano suspension Bridge that we took the public bus to get here. It’s opened in till late which gave us enough time to rent our gear and have hours of fun.

The hike is an amazing experience. If you go there the forst time, it's very hard. But on the top you will have a beautiful view to Vancouver. For going down you have to take the gondola.

Seeing vancouver from up above. Breathtaking. Be sure to head to the top and end enjoy some winter activities. (Ice skating, snow shoeing, skiing, sleigh ride) Even drop into the cinema and learn about the grouse mountain family. Two beautiful rescued bears <3

Hike up. Gondola down. Cheaper and faster than the tram lineups. And a GREAT workout! At least do it once.

The Grouse Grind is a difficult 1.5 mile hike that ascends 2000+ feet. It is slippery and wet--at least when we went there-- and somewhat crowded. It will take you longer than you think and you will be passed by people half your age while...More

Take ur time and enjoy the hike. I did it as fast as I could. U can do it! But definitely take water. And buy a t-shirt at the top - gives the specifics -3000 steps, etc. Have fun!
