Glad that I was not driving. absolutely no parking 400pm Saturday. The shop that we went to was extremely busy, the other eye glass stores were empty. My Daughter and son in law love this store, they do creative bookkeeping.

There are a lot of shops for clothing, electronics, Chinese DVDs. There are restaurants and fast food stalls on the upper floor. Market Village is nearby with a huge good court offering meals at a reasonable price. There are also grocery stores and pastry shops. Personally I feel this is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in Chinese... More

In Markham we have Toronto's New China Town with The Pacific Mall a pivotal place to eat, shop and just stroll. Hundreds of shops, restaurants, grocery stores all surrounded within an atmosphere of The Orient.

Use to be able to find actual cheaper items and more unique asian items that people might not find anywhere else. Now it's just the same DVD stores or cell phone or jewelry such. Maybe I have outgrown the atmosphere of this place, but I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Every time I go to Pacific Mall the shops get more and more tacky with less variety. Stores now are essentially the same, cellphone cases and presotea. How do any of the vendors differentiate themselves is a mystery. The only saving grace is Tung Tung Dan Quen King to pickup some freshly made egg rolls.

I remember Pacific Mall being a lot busier and livelier in the past with many more shops. However, a recent visits threw that notion out the window. Pacific Mall has become dull, but it still serves a good purpose of killing time and walking around.

As I mentioned earlier, language is the main barrier. Some of the shopkeeers don't speak English and so I felt unwelcomed in their shops. Though they have variety of items but diffult to shop due to language barrier. The same applies to food items as they cater for Chinese food only and there is nobody there who can properly explain... Amazing hand pulled noodles and bubble tea. Cheap eats, lots of cell phone places and neat jewelery and accessories. Nail places galore!! There are lots of things to do here and it's always super fun to visit with family and friends.

If I am looking for anything unusual or something I am not satisfied with - the price in regular stores/malls, you go to this Mall, you get practically everything at a discount. You can also negotiate with price. You walk around the mall and you have gone into at least a hundred stores with variety of goods in a very... More
