I live very close to Toogood pond and I love to talk a walk to the pond and relax. The pond is surrounded by some big old trees and it is really a beautiful place to sit down and relax. People of all age groups visit the pond area and even during winter.

When we have a couple hours to spare, we take the family and park at the parking lot along Carlton Rd beside Toogood Pond. Usually before 10 am on weekends before it gets busy. Over the winter, they put up temporary chain link fence, but access is not a problem. After our walk around the pond, we head over to... More

It's one of the family oriented parks in the suburbs of Toronto. I totally enjoyed my time in this awesome park.

Nice walk or stroll around the pond for tourists of every age group and ability. Takes about 40 minutes. Can be crowded on weekends and nice summer days. Lots of little shops and boutiques, cafes and bars in the village of Unionville. Street festivals on occasion.

It is very scenic and friendly. You can enjoy yourself in the winter or summer. Take your little ones for fun in the sun or snow OR go yourself and enjoy the scenery. I like to go in summer and take my favourite book, walk around and then go for a coffee on Main Street.

Countless teen romances started and ended at Toogood Pond. There is a great board walk that takes you around the pond and it is very scenic in the heart of Unionville just a walk away from mainstream. Don't go in the spring when the mosquitos come out as you will be eaten alive.

This place s perfect for families wanting to stroll across a marsh. Although it is beautiful, you need orient yourself on the map or you will get lost on the paths. I can tell you that everyone your encounter will be friendly.

They used to allow skating on the pond, but they no longer do so out of fear of legal risk. I like walking on the paths around it in the summer which take you on boardwalks and through forest after a lunch on the very touristy main street close by.

This park and the adjoining Toogood Pond is a favourite for locals and is packed on the weekends. Arrive early if you want to stroll along the historical streets of Unionville also. There is never enough parking besides the pond on a sunny weekend.

Too good pond is a great park to view wildlife and stroll along the pathways. It is near unionville Main Street which has lots of great restaurants and boutique stores. You can visit year round and will see something different on almost every occasion. Be it birds, fish or swans. Enjoy your visit.
