On our way west we stopped off in Osoyoos. A nice lake with lots of options for boating or swimming as well as walking along the lake-shore.

It is so soothing at night to go to bed and hear the small waves slap on the beach. To sit in your chairs and watch the boats go by. To look up at night to see all the stars.

Too Shallow water Don’t expect to be able to swim. You could walk in the water at least. Young kids could have fun but not people who expect to swim in a lake.

I absolutely HATE to do this , I love the place but we just got here and it's so smokey, we can't see mountains or even stay outside ... If you planning a trip, wait few days !

This lake is beautiful from every angle with some excellent viewpoints. The community beach is a lovely spot, but not a lot of parking, with decent sand and shaded grassy areas. Great for kids and the water is a lovely temperature. Change room / toilet...More

Sun Beach Motel is right on the water and is one of the only motels with a dock. It is also the only one that faces south. The rest face north onto the lake or to the east.
