It's very beautiful looking out over the lake. We always like staying at the Walnut Beach Resort which is right on the lake.

Beautiful lake, but the water was very high this year, so we couldn't take our dog to the beach. There are nice grassy areas.

We went back for a long weekend and the water level was high so the lake looked beautiful. It isn't a deep lake so in the summer it doesn't look as nice! It is a great place for a family vacation, so much water activities...More

Sun Beach Motel is right on the water and is one of the only motels with a dock. It is also the only one that faces south. The rest face north onto the lake or to the east.
