Combining tradition with modern artisan winemaking techniques, this Osoyoos winery showcases limited collections of Merlot, Syrah, Malbec and Zinfandel varietals as well as selections of proprietary blends. Young & Wyse are committed to nurturing every aspect of the time-honored tradition of grape growing and winemaking in the Okanagan. Our wine shop is open for winery visits and tastings, 11am to 5pm daily. We visited Young & Wyse winery after drinking a bottle of their amazing 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon at dinner. The winemakers wife Michelle was running the tasting room and what a wonderful character she is! Spunky, fun to chat with and very knowledgeable about their wines, the valley, and full of recommendations on where to dine. The wines are all lovely,... More

I had not read or heard any reviews of this winery before visiting it. I am very glad that we stopped to taste the wine because we enjoyed it so much. The person pouring, Michelle, was very knowledgable and attentive. We expect to buy more of these wines in the future. Wow! An excellent find!!!!

We had such a great time tasting here. JoJo helped us and she was fantastic. She explained the history of the winery to us. It was all a very pleasant experience.

Just north of the US-Canada border on Hwy 97 is the Young & Wyse Winery. Make the quick stop to taste their wonderful wines. Michelle Young is a gracious host who freely provides helpful hints on visiting the region. Their Black Sheep Blend (ask her to tell you the story) is well worth the stop. They also have a nice... A south turn on 97 instead of heading north to the usual suspects will reward you with a small scale, professional and friendly outfit with wonderful wines. To me their merlot was the best on the valley. Barbara spoke with knowledge and authority about the wines. It's only a couple of minutes from town and tastings are great value at... More

Out of all the wineries in this area, this one is a must do! Very friendly tasting bar and the wine was out of this world! Shout out to the host in early September (think the name was Jo) , she was extremely friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable.

A must try when travelling around Osoyoos. Superb wines and lovely conversation. Both the Reds & Whites are fabulous. My favourite stop on our wine tasting tour.

This winery is located south of Osoyoos on the Hwy 97 about 1-2km from the border. It is somewhat off the beaten track, but is definitely worth a visit. My wife and I stopped in and we were the only guests. The hostess provided an excellent tasting and overview of the wines. The place is small but serves its purpose... More

This winery was recommended to us & so glad we stopped in. Nice little merchandise area & tasting bar. Very helpful lady on hand to educate us as to how this winery came to be & the naming of the black sheep wine. Bought their cab sauv & the black sheep blend. Place outside to sit as well. Not to... Had a 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon. Superb - my guests liked it also very much. This wine was recommended by the owner of the restaurant.
