Lovely Valentines Day
Feb 2020 • Couples
My wife and I recently had lunch at Tanglebank Bistro on Valentine’s day. A lovely spot off the beaten track. The food was delicious and the service, warm and friendly. I’ve noticed their advertisements for special dinners as well. We’ll go back again for sure!

A Great Beginning
Dec 2019
We planned for a day in Abbotsford and started here. We went for brunch and enjoyed a delicious brunch - sweet and salty and huevos rancheros. I had the sweet and salty and it was sweet and salty and delicious and my friends ordered the huevos rancheros which they found full of flavour and just the right size for brunch. The server was funny and attentive. We went early and had a great table close to the fireplace. We will be back,

Unique and Special
Oct 2019
Whenever my wife and I want to treat ourselves, or we have guests in for out of town Brambles is our "go to" place to have a nice relaxing lunch. The setting in the midst of the nursery makes it very relaxing and the food quality is excellent. Prices are quite reasonable. As an added bonus it is always nice to support a family run business versus the usual chain restaurants.

First class!
Sep 2019
The owners are striving to achieve top quality in everything they do - and they are succeeding! The plants for sale offer an interesting choice - particularly the excellent range of hydrangeas - and the food in the bistro was so good it makes one want to go again and again. My wife had the chicken and I had the Reuben; cordon bleu quality. First class! Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere
Aug 2019 • Friends
This a beautiful place to have lunch. Ambiance is way above average. I had the chicken filone and my friend had the Reuben. Neither of us really enjoyed the food. It lacked flavor and we both left some behind. Pleasant service.

Who knew this hidden gem was so close by!
Jul 2019
We went to buy some plants as well as have lunch at this little hidden treasure, and what a nice surprise it was! Easy to get to with a fair amount of parking, and far enough off the main road to make it feel like you are miles away from everything. While it's not a huge garden nursery, there are fairly good selections of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees. There is a lovely patio area right beside the nursery, with 6-7 tables, in a soothing setting, or you can sit in the inside part that has garden furniture for purchase etc. and has quite a few tables to sit and eat or drink. The food was very nice, fresh, and a fair assortment to pick from considering it is a smaller place. Coffee, tea, cold drinks and wine or beer is available as well. The prices are a tad on the high side, but not too much over. We will be back on a sunny day so that we can sit outside and enjoy the serenity and have a nice lunch again!

Fabulous!
Jul 2019 • Friends
A girlfriend took me there for my birthday lunch and it’s a gem. Such a beautiful setting amongst all the plants on the outdoor patio. Service was great and the menu had lots to choose from. We shared 2 plates and sipped on sangria . Will definitely spread the word and go back. Two 👍 👍 up!!
