Loved it!!

This is a lovely oasis in the heart of Hinton. It's very well maintained and offers beautiful views. Although we didn't see any beavers, we did meet a lot of dogs.

Really impressed with the Beaver Boardwalk, well maintained and pleasant boardwalk through the marsh. Just wish we had more time to explore the trails and watch the beavers longer.

This is a nice little nature walk for getting outside in Hinton. Some of the boardwalk is a bit run down. We had trouble finding it because two streets have a very similar name. Keep going up to the second one. That thing you see splashing around is probably a muskrat, not a beaver. There is fencing around many of... More

Beautiful place to rejuvenate, so peaceful. Built by volunteers; incredible in this day and age. Thank you for this gem.

What a wonderful walk to do and the view is beautiful. We did not end up making right up to the beaver dams but saw them from a far. Even with out the Beavers I would highly suggest checking it out and being one with nature.

We went here, really just to pass sometime in the afternoon as for some reason I was just thinking it would be a short walk around the beaver lodges, but anyway it was a lot bigger and nicer than I expected. We unfortunately didn't get to spot any beavers but did see what we thought was a mink scamper by.... More

The lady at the travel information desk in downtown Hinton suggested we drive up to the beaver boardwalk from 7 to 9 PM to see the beavers. The place is a park, with a boardwalk around a wetland with rushes and grasses. The stream that runs through it is dammed by the beavers who can be seen swimming in the... More

A nice and very original spot for a walk around a wetland where some beavers have built their home. It was a very rainy day but we were able to see some beavers in site

This was one of the unexpected highlights of our trip, even with all the fantastic scenery of the well-known national parks - - Banff, Lake Louise, Yoho, Icefields & Jasper. We watched the beavers working steadily before sunset and also at sunrise the next day -- a beautiful lake and wetlands area, and so easy to access. If not for... More
