This place falls a little bit into the trap of most science museums, in that the museum has to sell itself on edutainment for the kids in order to be financially viable, and thus it affects if there is an exhibit which is designed primarily for adults. We were there for an exhibit on quantum computers, but it involved a... More

I took my niece and nephew (7 and 5) here over the holidays and they had a BLAST! The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable (thank goodness because I was never a science-kid!). They had the best time playing with the giant blocks on the main floor, and there was a demonstration on quantum science which they loved as... More

I took my niece here for a few hours on a Friday. There were lots of exhibits and things for her to check out. Even in not all exhibits were age appropriate, they do a good job at making sure there is something for kids of all ages. We enjoyed the Quantum exhibit and Nature Unleashed. Please don't expect what... More

It is a great great place to visit, especially with kids. I have been there numerous times with my grand daughters. From the time they were just crawling, we would spend time in the infant and toddler room. There was lots for them to explore, see and do. As they got older, still as pre-schoolers we could spend a whole... More

A great way to spend an afternoon with your kids. Multiple floors with interactive exhibits to keep kids entertained and educated. Large play area on the ground floor that has soft building blocks for stacking. Tickets to enter are reasonable; Grandparents get entry for $5+hst on Thursday if they're bringing in the grandkids. Exhibit changes about once a quarter.so there's... More

My kids loved the second floor, the first floor to me seemed dirty and disorganized. The top two floors were ice age and a nature one about earthquakes, volcanos, hurricanes and tornado, my husband and I really enjoyed it, and although my kids are a little bit too young to learn about it (3 and 5), it still kept them... Museum was rather sparse and bland. The first level was a play area with lots of toys of questionable sanitation levels geard mostly for kids ages 2-10. The second level was geared towards kids ages 5-10 and contained a random collection of experiential toys such as a walkable piano (which mostly played its own notes, not what you stepped on),...
