This is the Huron Natural Area, a nice place to enjoy!
Lots of rocks.
They have a place for children.
A statue.
We were lucky to be here. The leaves were falling down. There were different colors on the leaves.
This is a place to walk or hike.
There was a long bridge. Looking outside
There were panels about The Neutral Nation.
We had lots of ponds and lakes.
This is a beautiful place. Many people come here.
This is a must see!

Trail is very popular and busy. Lots of people visible and the parking lot is pretty small. Huron conservation area has lots of mini trails and lots of small bridges and pathways and easy to find something to like for everyone.
They have multiple boardwalks and are nice spots to just take a breather and enjoy the natural area.
My favourite trails were the strasborg and woodland trails - as they were less crowded and boardwalks were nice.
Other trails are good as they are shaded and provide protection from the elements (important during winter windy walks), other areas are open and can become cold during windy days. Fun trail and definitely worth spending an afternoon.

It's a nice place for a walk, you can bring your stroller and the kids. It is pretty well groomed and various marked trails.
A surprisingly good escape in the city.

Lots of great trails to explore. Many different types of vegetation as well as birds and wildlife Trees provide shade when exploring.

I have gone to these hiking trails several times and they are gorgeous trails, with great views and sitting areas. Would highly recommend.

This place has become my daily Trek for Jogging and cycling. It's located in Huron Kitchener. There are total of 6 different trek routes covering total of around 7 Km. There is small Lake or water body as well. I personally like GREEN and RED Trek. It has multiple Entrances but two of it's are major, One is the main entrance and second is from the Parkvale Drive near Huron Road. Must visit place in Kitchener.

Tovely woods and meadows.the multiple trails are well marked. There's one small pond. We like to go hiking there all year round. There are not many benches, though.

Nice green area in the city
Bathroom has a wheelchair sign, yet no push-button to use!
The whole area needs a lot of maintenance. Countless things need to be done in order to make this a better place.
If you forget your phone in your car, you may get lost. Very poor signage in smaller paths or those a little further of the main entrance
If you have no spray, your blood is well-sucked as this place has all kinds of bugs and skeeters. It was in July, between 1-3 PM, yet my body was full of bumps and was slapping myself for over 2 hours

Hi, i am talking about Beaver Dams with my students right now. I have heard there is a beaver dam here. Does anyone know which trail i should follow to get there?

Hi, I’m asking people walking in the paths at Huron Nature area to help me find my glasses.
I walked there this morning, March 23/2020. With the snow falling I put them in my pocket and they must have fallen out.
Prescription, ombré gold and pinkish, squarish frames.

I have never been to this trail before. Would anybody know roughly how long (km) the trail is? I'm looking for long distance

It is around 2.3 km...kind of short...I run it twice around for a sweet workout...
Which trails are stroller friendly?

The main path that takes you by the pond is reasonably flat but keep in mind it is not a paved way once you get into the woods with all the rain we have had i will be muddy and hard going.
Hope this helps.
