Wonderful stay!
Jul 2019 • Friends
I recommend this lovely home for a stay. Not only is Vera's home beautiful and filled with art, but the rooms are cosy and spacious. Vera is a wonderful, kind and thoughtful host. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast of fruit and scrambled eggs artfully prepared as well as the warm conversation with Vera. It was delightful to stay at Vera's and I highly highly recommend! A bonus is that directly across the street there is a restaurant called Gaia that had gluten free and vegan/ vegetarian options. My stay with Vera couldn't have been better. Thank you Vera!

Beautiful home-lovely hostess
Jul 2019
This home is on a lovely piece of property. Framed with a stone wall and bushes. Inside the stone wall the gardens show care and have many places to sit. Downstairs is an art gallery and our breakfast spot. The room was upstairs and just to our liking with a bathroom across the hall. Breakfast was delicious and the fresh homebaked scones even better. Vera was a lovely hostess. The town of Yarmouth was very quiet with the ferry not running-hopefully soon!

Great first stop after a long ferry ride!
Sep 2018 • Couples
The Murray Manor is a beautiful, carefully restored historic home just seconds from the Yarmouth NS ferry terminal. After a late arriving ferry it was so nice to see Vera waiting up for us and the gracious welcome that we received. Hospitality was obviously second nature to her and she took care to show us all the nuances and beauty of her home and establishment. The art gallery was special and the crepes were divine, It was obvious by all the people visiting just for crepes that the Murray Manor House is integral to the community. A great location and we would go back again.

Beautiful heritage house, gallery and excellent food!
Sep 2018 • Couples
We spent a lovely evening here enjoying the great food and admiring the paintings by local artists.
Vera and her staff are warm and friendly.
They specialise in crepes which were delicious....and most are gluten free.
They are as good as the French crepes I have tasted in Britany (France)
The only down side I can think of is that the restaurant is only open from May to September and not all the time. Mainly open for breakfast and lunch and 1 evening a week for supper. So check before going.
I can't rate this restaurant high enough!
We will be back.

Amazing food and beautiful atmosphere
Jul 2018 • Couples
Everything about this visit was superb! This was one of the stops on out food tour where we were treated to much room savory crepes and strawberry dessert crepes, along with the best coffe I had during my stay in Nova Scotia. Vera was an incredible hostess and answered all of our questions about the galler supporting the local artists. A gem of a place!

Excellent attention to details

This place is great. Both as a restaurant and a gallery it is lovely. There is a very broad selection of artwork inside on view and for sale. The restaurant offers very well done dishes and the owner and her staff do a wonderful job. A beautiful inviting place to check out.

Beautiful home, wonderful host, excellent food!

We were expecting to catch an early ferry from Yarmouth to Portland but it was canceled at the last minute. Instead, we took the ferry from Digby to St. John's which left a bit later. Although this extended the driving portion of our trip home to CT, the good news is that we had time for a lovely breakfast of delicious French toast and exquisite fruit served by Vera who is a warm and friendly host who is attentive and responsive to her guest's needs. The inn is beautifully appointed and filled with art from local artists.

When the CAT notified us that the day we were scheduled to leave was cancelled we needed to extend our stay by one day. Very lucky to have found this wonderful and beautiful Inn. The room was charming, owner is delightful and the grounds are impeccable. We also had lunch at the Creparie which was great, Very nice and would recommend highly.

Lovely lunch...
Aug 2017 • Friends
Beautiful setting in elegant older home. Dining both inside and alfresco. We had three different savoury crepes, a huge coffee and ginger ice cream, which is so hard to find these days. All were very tasty, nicely presented in a timely manner by friendly staff. Not sure if gluten free options were available but vegetarian crepe appeared to be possible. Prices were very reasonable. Gardens feature local sculptures and indoor gallery in the main house has a lovely display of local art. Parking available on roadside.

Delicious food and a beautifully curated gallery
Jun 2017 • Couples
Vera has been expanding her operation for several years. The art gallery displays beautiful, tastefully selected, contemporary local artists. The kitchen prepares their marvelous, signature savory and sweet crepes and has now expanded to a limited daily selection of other items, which have all been creative and tasty in our experience. Now also an AirBnB, though we haven't stayed there.....
