A step back in time and learn the history of the house, the inhabitants and the Fullerbrush Man. The tour guide was knowledgeable, the subject matter interesting. Luckily we were the only ones on the tour so we got to move through at our own pace. Well worth the small admission price, arrange your tour from next door at the Yarmouth County Museum. And tour it while you're here, its a great museum in an old Church.

More than just the Fuller house. This historic area was recommended to us by the Yarmouth Tourist Centre. It was a rainy day, so we drove rather than walked the area. It didn't take long to drive and would be a nice ½ hour walk in good weather. The old homes in the preservation area (marked by special street signs) are, for the most part, beautifully kept and worth a look. There is also an old tree trunk on one of the streets, covered with coloured wooden birdhouses. Somehow this bit of whimsy fits in just fine.

We met our hostess on the street, actually. She took us on a short but very informative tour of the three block area of old downtown. Then in the house she explained way more than just this cabinet was owned by xxx and built in xxx. One got the impression she was born and raised there.

Neither staff nor volunteers were willing to tear themselves away from the junk sale in the parking lot of the museum next door nor would they let us visit the house on our own.
Nothing on their website indicated they were closed.

We're sorry we were unable to accommodate you, however, several people tried to explain to you the reason why was because we were busy with one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Unfortunately, we were also short staffed on that day, making things even more difficult for us. We try to be as accommodating as possible to our visitors, but unfortunately on that day we weren't able to provide tours. Again, we apologize for not being able to accommodate you on that day.

Eccellent opportunity to view a historical site that is vey well preserved. The home was left to the Yarmouth Museum with the entire contents just as the Fuller family lived in the home.

Very interesting.. I was a Fuller Brush Lady at one time in my life!
The decor of the house was so interesting and seeing all of the inventions were very cool.

This home has belongings from three of Prim Fuller's family. The tour guide was knowledgeable. I remember the Fuller "brush man" coming to our home when I was growing up and 60 years later, we still have some Fuller Brushes in our home, so it was fun to learn more about the history of the company.

We did not appreciate the connection to the Fuller Brush Company. This home was meticulously set up and the guide was very knowledgeable about the family. Highly recommend.
