    The Popular Campground
Alice Lake is a favorite of the locals, many trails around the lake, lots of camping areas around so you can enjoy a getaway, or just come up for the day to enjoy the lake. A very clean, quiet place in the mountains, great for the whole family. Even watch all the Candian Geese walk around having fun also!

    amazing campground
Their campground is the nicest one I've ever been too, the washrooms are consistently cleaned and literally always looks brand new. the camps are also a good distance from the other campsites so you get some woods to yourself and more quiet. Also, all the campsites are really near to Alice lake itself. Though the lake is actually not that appealing but good safety measures in place!

  • Summertime, and the living is easy.
Why would anyone want to go there? Alice lake is crowded with tourists and full of green trees and blue water and fresh air. And the campsites are in the shade of the green trees where the birds are singing in the morning. W.J. Hall Squamish, b.c.

Parking was well oragnized however the entrance to the trail we were interested was blocked by the sporting event and most of trail in the other place also. So we could only wonder around the one lake - Alice lake but it was beautiful!

Very picturesque with a few geese on the grass, and a trail beside the lake. And very calming view of the water.

Clean bathrooms. Terrible carpenter ant problem though - crawling everywhere throughout the park ...up our chairs, table vehicle and onto us unknowingly. Crawling all over main bathroom floors. Camp management not monitoring delinquent campers stripping bark off trees while giving warnings to others about leaving clean cup on table overnight.

Alice Lake Provincial Park

Squamish

Nice campground, ruined by ignorant off leash dog owners.

Stayed in the Campground for four days mid week until checkout Saturday morning, very nice campground our sites had power and were close to washrooms with showers. The only downside was on Friday evening several campers coming in for the weekend either were incapable of reading or just selfishly didn’t care about the multitude of signs indicating dogs to be leashed “AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE PARK”, Where do these jerks come from? Unfortunately there were no park employees around to observe this abhorrent behaviour and kick these disrespectful ignoramus’s out.

Paddle boarding is easy from the far side as the walk down form your car is really short. The kids enjoy floating around within the roped off area and I know they are safe.

I started from the parking lot. At the first intersection you can continue along the 6km route to see all four lakes or do the Stump Lake loop which is only 1.5km. Wear sturdy shoes as there is plenty of uneven ground with rocks and roots. Bear in the area as well when I was there. Park info said the trail is closed to bicycles from May 1 - Sept. 15.

The pathways are groomed making the walk easy. It was pleasant and the lake is beautiful. It just didn’t have that ‘wow’ factor.

Not a spot I would return too.
