Squamish was an unexpected find on our travels. The information centre has lots of useful points for the local area and further afield. Nice cafe, gift shop and clean toilets. Plenty of parking.

We had a 20 minute stop here on our tour to Whistler. Facilities on offer are information plus leaflets, a cafe selling paninis, cakes and drinks, toilets and a gift shop. Lots of free parking outside. Worth calling in for a quick snack, pick up a souvenir or look at the well presented information.

This is great spot to pick up information on the areas attractions and sites, restaurants, stores etc. I also bought tickets for the Sea to Sky Gondola and got a discount.

And it will!! This is the place to go. Free Wi-Fi, great staff, and some cool films to watch. Must watch "In the Shadow of The Chief" (53min). Illustrates the first ascent by Jim Sinclair and Ed Cooper in 1961, just after Harding had ascended El Capitan. Gear and techniques were primitive indeed! The town below lay enthralled as these... It was the first time to visit here. I like the wood curving display outside near the parking lot. Lots of information about Squamish and BC.

The Adventure Center is far and away the best visitors center I've ever encountered, and I've traveled around the world. Because Squamish is an outdoor sport mecca, the Center reflects all the cool things to do and the staff is beyond friendly and helpful.

We stopped off at the Sqaumish adventre centre on a westcoast sightseeing tour on our way to whistler, the staff were able to give up information on things we can do in Whistler so we didn't have to think about it when we got there. There is also a very nice gift in there.

We did a kayak tour of the estuary. It was a beautiful day and the views were stunning. There was even a harbor seal that was following us. I really appreciated that the guide took photos with her phone and then texted them to me (as our underwater camera was dead). I now have photos of our fun afternoon. Thanks!
