More
The Sea to Sky Gondola experience starts at the base area. There is short-term parking, washrooms, a cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, a children's play area, ticketing/guest services, and a gift shop. Your adventure starts with the ten-minute gondola ride to 885m above sea level. The ride up provides sweeping views of Howe Sound, the majestic coastal forest, and surrounding mountains. Once at the top, many adventures await. Guests have access to a wide array of outdoor experiences including the spectacular Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, two easy, interpretive loop trails with viewing platforms, numerous hiking trails, rock climbing, snowshoeing, backcountry access and much more. In addition to the outdoor experiences, the Summit Lodge will provides opportunity for cultural exhibits, events, signature dining, or simply a chance for friends to share a refreshment after a day of adventure in nature.

We went there for opening hours, highly recommended due to how crowded it was we we got back from our hike. We should have brought some money up so we could try the food, it sounded delicious. They even had a playground set up for...More

Enjoyable climb to the top in cablecar but very busy with tourists when you get there. Stunning views from main deck of Howes fjord..Suspension bridge is short but scary nonetheless. About 5 hiking trails ranging in length and difficulty from 400m onwards are available at...More

The Sea to Sky gondola is expensive but worth the trip for the views. You go up in a little car which offers 360 degree views, making your way to the top of the mountain where they have lookouts, casual walking paths and a suspension...More

We were a bit skeptical doing such a touristy thing on our trip up to Whistler, figured it would be a money grab and a boring trip like on some ski hills. Definitely not! Quite a thrilling ride to the top with amazing views of...More

The gondola cabins are not heated or air conditioned so it is entirely dependant on the conditions outside. The Sea to Sky Gondola website displays the temperatures at the base and summit, so be sure to check that out before... More

There is a Vancouver to gondola shuttle from downtown pickup AM and return back to Vancouver by roughly 16:30. Shannon falls is a 10min walk from the bas of the gondola
