The water levels were low so the waterfall was not at its most spectacular but we were driving highway 99 back to Vancouver and it was worth the stop. It’s a pretty spot. We didn’t do the sea to sky gondola but you can combine...More

A great waterfall and only a short walk from the car park. Also a section with cascade to allow for photos for those keen on that stuff. Very popular so recommend an early or lat visit. Being so close to Vancouver is popular with coach...More

We stopped here on our was to Whistler. The falls are just beautiful- they trickle from quite a height and twist down the rockface, glistening in the sun. I did take photos but in no way did they capture the true beauty. Worth the 15 min...More

We stopped by Shannon Falls Park on our way to Whistler. There is short walk and climb to get to the waterfalls which was worth every penny to see!!!

I could have sat for hours watching this majestic waterfall. The falls seem to just blast out of the side of the mountain and crash below on the rocks. The setting is equally impressive. Trees and downed logs are covered in moss, and ferns blanket...More

Shannon Falls is definitely worth a stop enroute to Whistler or to the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish. It’s about a 10 minute hike to the falls through a natural wooded trail. Once you arrive at the Falls, feel the cool mist hit your...More

Handy tip. Don't panic if the car park is full as you can park at the parking for the Sea to Sky gondola and walk via a lovely wooded walk between both attractions! The walk for the actual falls only takes 20 mins. Toilets at...More

Hi Rima I was at Shannon Falls back in June and from memory, it looked that you would be able to have a BBQ in the car park but there is isn't anywhere up by the falls - you would probably get a lot of spray on you... More

No signs say you can’t, but I wouldn’t let my kids play in that area. Shallow, cold and rocky.
