A small open boat, a cool but beautiful fall day ... and amazing encounters with the whales. Our guide was very knowledgeable - he knew the orcas by name, and we had lots of sightings. The small boat made the encounters seem very close and personal, esp. when a group of Dall porpoises zoomed up to play with us. Totally... More

Had an amazing day on 1st Oct with Sidney Whale Watching. Followed a small group of transient Orca's, apparently usually very difficult to see; Dave was able to accurately predict the whales behaviour and what they were likely to do next and for this reason we stayed with these whales the whole time as he thought they would be hunting... This was a trip that we wanted to make with our young grandchildren who live 'down under'. It was exciting and the kids loved seeing the orcas and we saw lots of harbour seals too. The scenery was very grand and once the sun came out it was magnificent out there. We were in an open boat (no windshield) and... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We remember the day you went out, it certainly was more chilly than normal that day, but we're so happy to hear you had a great time with the whales despite the cool weather! Just a note - we noticed that you rated your trip as "one-star" and were wondering if this... More

Great whale watching company. We went out on a zodiac on a beautiful evening on the water. Saw lots of whales unfortunately mostly just going up and under the water. I only wish that we could of got closer to the whales or at least gone down the water and had them come more towards us like the other tour... More

We were hosting guests from Scotland, and thought we would treat them to "Super Natural British Columbia". Made a booking for 4 of us. It was a cloudless sunny day with calm seas. Our skipper, Amanda, showed us on a map where we might be headed, and off we went. Surprisingly, it took about an hour and a quarter to... More

Hello Leo L, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Some days the whales are close by, some days they are further away, but we are glad to hear you enjoyed the trip there and back. In addition to the whales the sightings of the islands and scenery along the way also make for a great cruise.... More

We went on this trip hopeful but not expecting too much. We were only out for about 20mins before we saw two pods of killer whales either side of the boat. Amanda (who took us out) was very informative about each whale and was very interesting and added humour to the trip! We were watching the whales for over an... More

Took my 16 yr old niece with me. We only had 5 days to spend on the Island so this was our FIRST stop. Staff were great, well organized, had us all suited up in no time. We, LUCKILY, got the zodiac rather than the `boat` which added to the fun, Took about a half hour to get out to... More

Went with my Grandson & Brother and 20 minutes in spotted several Orca's jumping in the air. Crew was wonderful we sat for about 15 minutes and started following them down the coast. Our Captain was a great story teller and very knowledgeable and then he spotted a Humpback Whale. We continued to journey down the coast following the Orca's... More

Vacationing with my 7-yr-old twin granddaughters in Victoria, BC, I wanted to include a whale-watching adventure... not a large craft with a great many people, nor the powerful inflatable boat most likely to spray us, but something in between. And I wanted some assurance that we would see whales. The companies operating out of Victoria didn't fit the bill for... More
