Quite an interesting tour with a knowledgable guide. It was really cool to see all the pre-dam photos and see the work that went into building the dam. The elevator was broken the day we were there so we couldn't go to the top for the view and photos, so that sucked. But they didn't charge us for the tour... More

Sorry about the elevator not being available the day you visited, but we're happy you still enjoyed your visit. There is lots of great information throughout the centre about how the dam was built and how much power is generated at Revelstoke and our other dams. We hope you have a chance to visit again so that you have the... More

The revelstoke dam tour is amazing. Self guided tour. Don't cheat yourself and read the information boards and follow the pointing beaver signs. The elevator to the top observation deck was working and is amazing at the top. A true testament to man made engineering. It's awe inspiring to see as you round the corner to the parking lot. Security... More

Its really a good stop along the way. Seeing how large this dam is will make your jaw drop. It is well laid out to do a self tour with interactive activities, tips on how we can save electricity and a video. One feels very tiny when you see the power of this place (pun intended). It's a good attraction... More

There's lots to see at the Visitor Centre, from the interactive displays, First Nations gallery and the views at the dam which start right in the parking lot. The structure is really large and stepping out in front of the penstocks definitely makes you feel tiny. Thanks so much for your review. More

Totally worth seeing! Be prepared for the security check at the front gates, the guard will ask to see your photo ID and will warn you in advance you can't bring any purses or bags into the visitor centre. Parking is easy and plentiful. Be sure to catch the excellent, free guided tour through the galleries and up to the... More

We almost passed this one attraction up and boy am I happy we didn't. This is such a fascinating structure. The security is a great added feature. You can take a guided tour or you can go it alone. There are a lot of fascinating facts along the way! You have to go to the top on the lookout, I'm... More

Thanks for not passing up on your visit to the dam. It is an awesome experience to see a large structure like this up close, and to get a chance to stand on top of it to see the beautiful view of the Columbia River is a unique experience. We're happy you had an enjoyable experience. Thank you for your... More

We thought we would visit the Dam prior to booking into the Glacier House Hotel. Arrived at 4.30pm not realising that the Dam closed to visitors at 5.00pm. However, the very friendly staff told us that a short visit was still worth it, and they were right. Its not that sort of place that requires hours to see, but it... More

To start I'll recommend that you TAKE I.D. with you or you won't get in. That's just the way it is folks. This is... More

We went to the dam to kill time before checking in to our accommodation, and to get out of the rain. It turned out to be quite an interesting stop. Our three kids loved the amazing views and the interactive displays in the visitor centre. We took some stunning photos too. Worth a visit, especially on a rainy afternoon.
