Want to get a sense of The Coast, including Forestry, Fishing & Things to do & See? Visit The harbour quay in Historic Port Alberni-Old Town. Walk the docks, nosh on good seafood, board the steam train to the end of the line. what a great way to spend the day or a couple of days.

The town has really done a good job of fixing this place up. It's attractive, with reasonably priced cafés and a lot of good historical information about the region. Very much worth a visit on your way to Tofino.

Nice place for stopping for some fresh air. Well kept grounds, ample parking, flat walkways, lots of places to sit, play area for kids, very relaxing stop.

Nice little stop with lots of little shops. A snack from 'the donut shop' is the perfect addition to the amazing harbour views. It has a few nice shops & also has a new aquarium for a bonus stop. Definitely going back there again, recommended if you're going through the area!

We visited here after going on the steam train - everything was closed down (5pm on Saturday evening!!) but we walked around and it looked as if it would be a lovely place to wander around when it was all open.

It was our first time and we found it very interesting especially the many statues. The walking area was wheel chair friendly and the stores were different. We would visit again if ever in Port Alberni again.

My partners meal of halibut was not hot and had to be sent back and was much better the second time served. Service was friendly and timely.
