Overview
More
Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park straddles the scenic Little Qualicum River, west of Parksville, where impressive waterfalls cascade and plummet down a rocky gorge in a beautiful forest setting. Perhaps the most magnificent park on Vancouver Island, Little Qualicum Falls incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, adjacent to MacMillan Provincial Park and the awesome Cathedral Grove Rainforest. Cameron Lake is bordered by steep mountains: Mt. Wesley to the north and Mt. Arrowsmith to the south.

A Must see if traveling anywhere near this gorgeous falls and trails. Any time of year it's a must see. Never camped there but the sites look good, don't think I would camp with little ones as River in almost ALL spots is dangerous.

Although we have toured this park previously, we stopped for a picnic lunch while visiting Vancouver Island. Unfortunately, we visited after two months without rain and were amazed by how different the park felt. Still the short hike to the upper and lower falls was...More

Very easy walk along the Little Qualicum river, you can go up river to see some of the falls or go down river and play in the water. There are picnic tables available and a covered cook house. Great for kids and elderly alike.

Need to have a railing and better steps. Not good for people with a handicapp. But once down the falls are beautiful.

Fantastic walking trails along the water and into the forests. The walk to the falls is easy, signposted well and definitely family friendly. Plenty of parking too. If you're feeling adventurous head off the beaten path. By no means busy, we splashed in the river...More

A nice stop to take a walk and get some great pictures. Many people struggled with little signage but it is an easy spot to get to the destination. Worth the stop

We came here for a brief stop and walk around. The gorge is beautiful and the trails are very easy and a short distance to the falls so anyone can come for a look. The carpark does get quite busy in summer but there was...More

Nice falls. Short walk down to the falls with no special gear required (no hiking boots, etc). Great pit stop

Great falls at both upper and lower area. Easy trails for beginner travellers. Lots of rest stops to view streams and falls.

This campground seemed much quieter than nearby Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park. The trail from the campground to the falls was a very nice walk through lush forest and had a few places to dip in the water (signs recommended otherwise in several locations.)
