We went on a zodiac tour with Campbell River Whale Watching, a 6 hour wildlife tour. We can't describe in words, how amazing this tour was, you are so close to everything. We saw a pod of orcas hunt and celebrate, black bears on the shore digging for crabs and little fish under rocks, seals and sea lions. Saw more... More

I booked a day trip with Campbell River Whale Watching in september. It was amazing! So many orcas, some humpbacks and beautiful surroundings. I came to Canada especially to see the orcas and this company did not disappoint. The orcas were spyhopping all the time and at some point they were swimming under our boat. It was such a great... Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is not often that we as staff take the time to go on whale watching tours with other local companies so this feed back is appreciated. We are glad that you enjoyed yourself here on Vancouver Island and hope to see you again sometime. Perhaps we can persuade you... More

I just wanted to let you know about this company of dedicated naturalists. I have been on both the wildlife and rapids tours. Both were thrilling. The wildlife tour surpassed my expectations because we saw orcas, fed eagles, dolphins and many other birds. Our guide was able to discuss the wildlife and their habitats. The rapids tour was exciting and... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review, especially at a time when a lot of us are thinking about holiday plans in the future. The Rapid tour is very unique and difficult to explain properly, you just have to experience it! You get the thrill of an unusual phenomenon of Ocean Rapids combined with all... More

Our family with four teenagers had the most amazing day viewing grizzly bears at Bute Inlet. Reece was our captain/operator and was very friendly, helpful and a very skilled boat operator. The First Nation community that conducted the actual grizzly bear tour were amazing. We saw 13 grizzlies that day and some quite close. Got some terrific photos and have... More

The Grizzly tours have become a "Bucket list" activity here on the westcoast for both young and old. How fortunate we are to live in such a place! I will pass on your complements to both Rhys and the Homalco guides, they are indeed, terrific at what they do! Our drivers and the Homalco guides have a real passion for... More

I've been on quite a few whale watching trips but these were 2 of the best I have ever been on. I did a full day whale watching trip and a full day grizzly watching trip - both amazing! Saw humpbacks and orca both days and around 8 grizzlies on the bear trip to Bute Inlet. The whole area is... More

Almost as soon as we left the marina, we saw two Humpback Whales cruising by. They were headed south and we were headed north, but Captain Jack ensured that we got some pictures of the whales. We continued sailing among the islands and eventually up Bute Inlet to Orford Valley. The skies cleared and upon arrival at Orford Pt, we... More

We booked a spur of the moment afternoon excursion with Go Wild! and I want to send a big thank you to Jack and the team!
