Beautiful views from their location. Easy free parking. Does a good job of describing the growth of the greater Campbell River area, with entertaining and interactive displays. Well worth a visit.

Good wet weather activity for a couple of hours. A brief insight to the local history but involves lots of video watching to understand fully.

Worth spending a couple of hours in rainy (or even sunny) weather. Take the time to go into the theatres and read the explanations with the exhibits.

This museum is lovingly dedicated to our local history, from the loggers steam donkey that is occasionally 'fired up' to the beautiful fish boat "moored" outside and about which many lovely stories as to its former Japanese owner, its confiscation, restoration to the former owner,...More

One to two hours. Most of the history was a review of what I already had knowledge. If you are new to Canada West Coast tho you may want to take longer.
