Great collection

There is a great collection of gems and fossils. Not all of it local but a lot of it is. Some of the stuff is a bit expensive, but it is as close as you can get to taking home... read more

We visited this gift shop hoping to find some cute gift items. When we first entered a lady working there behind the counter said "I'm eating lunch, but go ahead and look around". I found an item I was interested in and asked if it rusts or tarnishes how do I care for it. She responded that "It didn't rust... More

There are some interesting souvenirs, some may cringe at the price tag on some of these, however they are nice. After browsing the store for a few minutes, heading downstairs and discovering more souvenirs we had decided on a few things to buy. The young man at the counter was helpful and nice but another lady became present in the... More

I need to first say, the young gentlemen working when we first arrived was excellent. We had just finished lunch and I had my carryout container. He politely told me no food was allowed and offered to keep it at the counter for me. We browsed the store and were in line paying when a lady emerged with 2 small... More

There is a great collection of gems and fossils. Not all of it local but a lot of it is. Some of the stuff is a bit expensive, but it is as close as you can get to taking home something from the dinosaur museum.

Be sure to check out the triceretops skull in the basement as long as it hasn't been purchesed :) is too cool! Lost of interesting stuff to look at here.

Lovely little shop. Fossils everywhere from the main floor to the basement. Very nice lady. Atmosphere was welcoming.

We did not spend as much time as we would have liked to in this shop...a treasure-trove of fossils and rocks. I bought a pair of shark-teeth earrings (irresistible), while the others bought other jewelry and stones. Be sure to go downtown to see another huge inventory.

Discovered the store today during a snowstorm. The british lady was very nice and found a great trilobite, they have a good selection for a small shop. Amazing turtle shell and cave bear skeleton.

I had friends visit from Nova Scotia for a view days in Drumheller, and we went to the Fossil Shop. It always amazes me how good this shop is for authenticity, variety, and friendly service. My friends found what they wanted to take home, and the store owner gave them some stands for the fossils for free. A great store... More
