You know you are in a unique place when you see these. It's about 15 mins.outside Drumheller but don't miss and if you have kids they will love the climbing up and down the hills.

Quite nice to look at as they are very unusual but you really don't need much time here as they're pretty much just fun to look at for a few minutes and to get some pics beside!

This is but a short drive from Drumheller and is worth seeing. I expected the site to be larger, but it is very interesting and you can walk amongst the structures.

We usually come about once a year to the Drumheller area. The hoodoos are a fun climb. The front is gated off. I remember when it wasn't and you could climb all over it. I've physically watched it erode over time so I totally get...More

Loved our visit to the Hoo Doo's in Drumheller. What I didn't like was the tourists walking all over them. Stick to the path people! you are destroying a natural attraction!

Hoodoos are sometimes called 'Fairy Chimneys' and are formed by erosion of wind and water. The 'column' of the hoodoo is soft sandstone that wears away but the top, or cap, is made from harder stone and wears away much more slowly. I don't think...More
