Great place to walk around, and to sit and relax. Watched blue heron fish, saw a gorgeous sunset, enjoyed the peace and quiet while also enjoying an amazing lemon curd gelato from the nearby shop. The art was also lovely.

What a pleasant surprise. Who would have known that a small town would have a sculpture park? The sculptures are very good and there are enough to make it interesting. I was lucky enough to be able to see a blue heron in the river that runs through the park. If you are in Gananoque you must visit the sculpture park it is well worth it.

Across the street from the Town Hall, this little gem of a park awaits! Cool and varied sculptures, waterfalls and a nice fountain. Great way to stretch your legs after dinner.

It is a great place to stop and have a quick brunch. It is also near the dock so if you are signed up for the cruise tour eating here would be really convenient .

This is a very unexpected, unique little park right beside the downtown visitor centre. The sculptures are beautiful and separated just far enough to make you want to explore the path to get to each one. There is a fountain, waterfall, geese and swans to add to the ambience.

We were drawn to the park from King Street after seeing the pretty sculptures and gardens. As soon as we started walking through the park (on both the grass and the walks) we realized then entire area was covered in swan/goose/duck crap. I'm not talking about a few random piles here and there. Its everywhere, on both sides of the river.
It really took away from the overallpotnetial of the park which is laid out well and attractive but honestly, I wouldn't go there with a small child or in sandals or flip flops.
It may not be this way all of the time but during summer season, you'd want to leave a positive lasting impression. Thats not what occurred.
Hopefully they do something to curb the foul fowl deposits.

We were driving by and noticed the small waterfall and stopped to have a look. The sculptures were "interesting" but I would have liked to see more information about what they were. Careful, as there are many snakes by the tall grass by the water's edge.

Sculpture Park (previously known as Centennial Park) is located in the heart of Gananoque.
Tree lined on one side, with open space on the other, park benches provide guests varying options on how to spend their time.
Indigent swans, ducks and geese frequent the pond, which is part of the Gananoque River.
A nice, quiet place to while away the hours reading a book, or people / nature watching.

I quite enjoyed this park. In the summer the fountain is lit up at night, there are swans, nice for a quick stroll through or picnic. Lots of cool sculptures from local Canadian artists.

Why is the Gananoque Horticultural Park not mentioned? This is a lovely park and garden at the corner of Main and Mill Streets, run by volunteers of the Gananoque Horticultural Society for the last 94 years.

This park is beautiful, I do not know why it has not been mentioned in the GHPS, I do hope that the city would clean up the geese poop as it is everywhere- it would be a nice place to have a picnic.
