Attended the Derek Edwards comedy show. The theatre staff were very friendly and helpful and told us about the lounge area and where to go to find our seats. The lounge was great with tables and chairs and a good selection of wine, beer and soft drinks. I was surprised to learn that you can even take a drink into... More

The staff are so welcoming and professional. They take pleasure in helping you have a great visit. The building is wonderful for sound and sight lines. Lots of stairs to climb but the elevator is available if you need it. Parking is limited so if you are not early you will need to park off site and walk - but... More

Comfortable and welcoming. The show we were at was very well produced and professionally arranged with sound and lighting. Everyone in the audience could feel part if the show and hear properly without being overly loud like most places. Go grab a ticket or two. We never seem to go enough over the years, but this Opera House can really... More

A family group went to see "Flight Path" in the small theatre. It was hilarious and sitting close to the actors was even more fun. We all enjoyed it.

Orillia Opera House is a fine venue for live performances but it also happens to be a place for dead ones too. I teach night art classes in the Market Room and often lock up the building after dark. On more than one occasion I have heard voices coming from deep inside the cavernous building. Many other people have had... More

We recently attended the Dean & Jerry, What Might Have Been Show as part of the Best Western Plus Sunshine Getaway package. To be honest, my husband and I thought we wouldn't be able to sit through this whole show based on the first half hour of the opening act. But we were so glad that we did. We found... More

We enjoyed the outstanding singing and comedy of talented Derek Marshall and Nicholas Arnold tremendously. The musicians were also wonderful. This small intimate theatre was a perfect venue to listen to the story and hear the music of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. The added songs from the time period were a bonus bit of nostalgic joy. Very enjoyable!

I just came back from seeing Dean and Jerry: What Might Have Been. We loved the singing, the acting and the comedy. During the show we really believed we were watching Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in person, as we remembered them years ago. It was hard to believe that these actors, who actually resembled Dean and Jerry, were also... More
