This home is filled will interesting items from around the world. My 19 yo dtr, my husband and I enjoyed a leisurely tour through this museum which took 30 minutes and the guide was there to answer any of our queries. Great place if you want to take pictures of the items. A fascinating stop in Saint Andrews!

The house was actually purchased by a couple to display the many items that they collected on their travels around the world, along with antiques that they had purchased throughout their life. There were many very beautiful items on display, and the stories about the couple were also very interesting.

This period house was just beautiful. What amazed me most was the collection of artifacts that they collected over their lifetime and world travels. It was very interesting learning about this history of he house and couple. The girl who greeted us at the door was very helpful in explaining a bit of the history of the house and this... More

Another gem in Saint Andrews that can be visited for free! Really enjoyed learning about the Ross couple and seeing all the artifacts from their travels. After a brief introduction about the house from the staff, we were able to follow the self-guided tour at our leisure. Don't forget to bring a donation :-).

It was a nice place to spend 40 min to an hour. An interesting collection of world items, and we liked reading about the Ross couple.

This house is spectacular!! Unfortunately, we did not have time to really see it properly, so will go back soon. It is probably the most detailed home/museum I've ever been in. It feels like the family is still living there and is a MUST SEE if you're in the area,You need at least one hour (or more) to really appreciate... More

One of my favourite stops in St Andrews. This lovely little museum provides a glimpse into the lives of Henry and Sarah Ross, an American couple who made St Andrews their home. Their story is one of love for each other and generosity towards friends and their community. They amassed quite a collection of art, furniture and carpets, and then... More

Another one of our stops during our day trip to St. Andrews We were greeted by Shannon upon arrival and she gave us a great insight to the home and the owners and about the surrounding history. She was very pleasant and answered our questions with extensive knowledge. We were then allowed to take a self-guided tour of the home... More
