Breathtaking views. Ocean breezes. A challenging game. For over a century, golfers have traveled to The Algonquin to test their skills and take in the views. Today, our 7,000-yard, par 72 course–redesigned in 2000 by renowned course architect Thomas McBroom–will delight and challenge golfers of every level. You’ll never want to return to a course without a show-stealing ocean backdrop.

The back 9 of this course is one of the most beautiful I've played with incredible vistas at every hole. The greens were in great shape but the fairways could be improved. Great collection of fun holes that are challenging. Look forward to returning after the renovations

This lovely facility has everything you want, just the way you want it. The rooms are exquisite, as are the ambience, the facilities, and the food and beverages. A little out of the way, but worth the effort to get there. The prices are high, but not unreasonable given the quality.

We play a lot of golf and this course could be very nice. The fairways are in rough shape and need some work. There is a lot of construction going on and we were told the architect from Cabot Links and Cliffs is working on the redesign of a few holes. That will be fantastic once completed. The pro shop... Since we were staying at the Algonquin, and had brought our golf bag, we figured we'd come down to the Golf Course to do some practice driving and putting. The driving range was great, nice flags to aim for. However it could certainly use some new grass as the grass is somewhat eaten away. Putting greens were a nice challenge,... More

We had a very good room with a view of the ocean. The room looked to be very new. The bed was comfortable. We had the breakfast buffet. The food was great and had an omlette station. The only bad part was the abundance of dogs on the terrace. I doubt that we would stay there again because of the... More

We stopped by here just to look around as we were with our children. The staff were all extremely welcoming. We decided to go to the driving range, and we were the only people there. We had a spectacular view of the sunset, the water, the hills, and the kids loved it. The staff brought clubs for us to use.... More

We were booked in the Algonquin hotel, but were really interested in visiting the Algonquin Golf Course instead. We were pleased to find there was a shuttle to take us there and come and pick us up when time was ready. It is a beautiful view of the water across the course, the weather was perfect, the seating outdoors was... More

2 brothers and 2 brother-in-laws went golfing while three women stayed at the campsite talking. The men said the course was alright, the tees very fast and hard but the scenery was fabulous! Expensive...

Booked the tee time through the inter web. Glad we did as I would not have paid the price at the pro shop. The course is not what they say it is. The staff was great. But the way the course is ran you would expect the greens Luis the grass to be in better shape & are not in... More
